A Note About Pricing From Our Founder…

When I pulled together our first online event in 2012 (called the Connectivity Conference), it was held together with an internet connection and 12 people on WebEx who generously agreed to share their time for free with our 75 registrants. And it was such a JOY to simply learn from one another.

Since then, our events have taken on a life of their own. They have gotten larger in size and in the cost to produce. Most people don’t realize that we pay each of our presenters, which is something most education conferences never do.

Unfortunately, this has also meant that many teachers have had to miss out on our events because they cannot afford the ticket fee and their district won’t cover the cost.

This year, we want to help change that. We’ve intentionally sought out sponsors to help offset the cost to teachers and have a new pricing system available. We hope this new tiered system will help ease the burden on educators’ wallets and still allow us to provide the high quality events we’re known for as an institution. It’s my hope that these options allow more people to join us and participate in the pure joy of learning together. More than ever, being in community with one another to create new possibilities is needed in education.

The Online Arts Integration and STEAM Summer Summit provides engaging and rigorous professional development specifically designed to help you make cross-curricular connections with the arts using standards-based processes, skills, and strategies you can use immediately. All of our sessions are designed by expert educators, administrators, teaching artists, and authors with years of real-world classroom, arts, and administrative experience.

To accommodate as many different budgets and professional learning needs as possible, we have a variety of pricing tiers with different levels of access this year. To receive a professional development certificate with 15 PD hours, you will need to purchase a Tier 2 (General Plus) or Tier 3 (VIP) ticket.

That said, each state’s requirements for PD certificate acceptance are different, so we ask that you check with your district office prior to your registration.

For General Ticket Holders: if you miss the live stream event, you have unfortunately missed out. No refunds are provided so be sure to make every effort to attend on July 12, 2024 from 10AM – 2pm Eastern Time (check time zones!).

For General Plus Ticket Holders: If you miss the live stream event, you have until July 14 to watch everything from the live day archive PLUS all of the workshop sessions released on July 13 and 14. After July 14, you will no longer have access to any of the sessions.

For VIP Ticket Holders: If you miss the live stream event, you have a full year (until July 12, 2025) to go back and revisit / rewatch all of the sessions from both the live day and the 2 days of workshop sessions. This is the most flexible option.

We do accept purchase orders for groups of 5 or more registering for Tier 2 or Tier 3 tickets.  Schools can use this form to submit a purchase order request.  Please note, the last day purchase orders will be accepted is June 30. We do not consider purchase orders payment, and payment must be received via check or credit card within 30 days of registration.

We can only issue an invoice for purchase orders for groups of 5 or more. Upon receiving the purchase order request, we will issue an invoice via email, along with our W-9 to share with your accounting team. You can also download our W-9 here.

We have priced this event as affordably as possible and no additional group discounts are available.

If you’re currently an Accelerator member and your membership is valid through July 14, you will not need to pay to attend this event as it is included in your membership. If you membership is due to renew between now and July 14, you will need to renew in order to receive access.

Yes! We use a combination of both Zoom Live Closed Captioning and Vimeo Closed Captioning to provide accessibility to those who need/prefer it.
